Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group") is headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. Since its establishment in September 2001, Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group has developed into a national-level iron and steel conglomerate covering steel, logistics, hotels, real estate, education, investment, foreign trade, port and other diversified industries, and has several production bases in Changzhou, Nantong, Huai 'an and other places. In 2022, the group achieved a revenue breakthrough of 200 billion yuan, and now ranks 139th in China's Top 500 Enterprises in 2022, 59th in China's Top 500 Manufacturing enterprises, and 5th in Jiangsu's Top 200 Private Enterprises.

In the early stage of digital construction, the OA office, human resource management, financial bills and other information systems of Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group stored unstructured data based on traditional NAS, which could not meet the storage demands of the group's explosive growth of data, restricting the innovative development of business.

The existing multiple sets of storage are managed and used discreetly, and the resources cannot be unified and centralized management, which increases the difficulty of operating and maintenance pressure of the storage environment. Data island and repeated construction lead to low resource utilization;

Multiple service teams have complex requirements on storage resources. Departments and personnel do not implement proper access control for viewing, modifying, and deleting data, resulting in high security risks. Therefore, a refined permission policy is urgently needed.

In 2019, through full technical communication with the Group's operation and maintenance service center and Information Engineering Department, Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group decided to adopt UCloud distributed storage UCloudStor to smoothly replace traditional file storage, and provide block storage and object storage interfaces to support the docking of traditional business systems, and the two sides established a good foundation for cooperation.

In 2022, customers will again adopt UCloudStor distributed storage to provide data storage and management capabilities for upper-layer cloud computing platforms, big data platforms and AI intelligent businesses to help enterprises transform and upgrade digitally.

• Through the first and second phase of the construction of UCloudStor distributed storage products and solutions, the Group's storage underlying architecture was unified, and the fully distributed and fully symmetric architecture provided a stable and reliable data cornerstone for the Group.

• UCloudStor's ability to expand on demand and flexibly, without affecting the Group's existing business and data operation applications, meets the rapid growth of data storage needs with the Group's business development, laying the foundation for the Group's long-term development.

• Data circulation and sharing greatly improved the business efficiency of the Group's platforms such as big data analysis and AI intelligent training; Multi-tenant and role rights management, providing the group with secure access to data and rational use of storage resources;
